I have had a lot of health issues as I get older, I'm type 2 diabetic, have high blood pressure and CLL and most recently diagnosed with MDS. I also had my gall bladder removed in January 2023. I've had the scopes, upper and lower done twice and a bone marrow biopsy/aspiration and now waiting for an MRI scheduled for November 30 2023. I have to get bloodwork done every 2 weeks and an iron infusion once a month now. Over the past couple of years I've had 7 or 8 iron infusions and about the same number of blood transfusions. Unfortunately most of the blood transfusions have been done in the Emergency Room at Victoria Hospital in London. I am writing this as a form of documentation rather than a self pity blog, please read it as such.
